I don't know what to think of this.

A British film, for general release that crosses porn over into mainstream release.

The two-hour movie Destricted, to be premiered at Tate Modern in September, has the lengthiest explicit scenes ever passed for a mainstream audience. Almost the entire duration of the film is devoted to images or discussions of sex acts and it reopens the debate about where the boundary lies between art and porn.

"Well, my brief was porn and I think I made porn so therefore it should be porn," said Ms Taylor-Wood. "But it's so nice and it's so beautiful it feels sort of different to porn. I think if you rented my movie as a porn film you might be a little bit disappointed."

I'm not a prude, and find little harm in porn as long as it's kept out of underage hands... The thing is, what kind of society are we heading for? I know it'll be age restricted, and it'll go to adult titilation, which is fine. I'm a little concerned about breaking down certain barriers however. What I like to see as an adult male, as opposed to what I worry that my kids will see.I'm not against it's release, I just wonder if certain walls should remain standing. I mean, cable channels get more and more racy, and I have no problem liking some of it, but how will this end up?

In ten years, will real porn run on late night TV?

Is this something we should allow? What a couple may like to watch, they may have a different view when they have children. I just worry that in becoming more in the open about raw sex, we may end up in a situation that we'll regret. Maybe some caution is warrented here. I have as healthy a drive as any male, but some things should remain private. What a man and woman chose to watch, should maybe stay on a DVD, where it can be controled better.

Reclaiming the new frontier

NASA, Ares is the Greek god associated with Mars, and the "I and V" designations pay homage to the Apollo-era Saturn I and Saturn V rockets. The crew exploration vehicle, which will succeed the space shuttle as NASA's spacecraft for human space exploration, will be named at a later date.

I confess some serious disappointment that the new launch vehicles for NASA, the US are a throwback to the days of Apollo. The big difference is a heavy reliance on solid, rather than liquid fueled rocket stages. The reason is safety, solids are inherently safer, with almost no risk of explosion. Heat shields are greatly advanced, and materials science advances mean far less weight, more bang for the buck. The shuttle was a grand achievement, but it's time is nearly up, and we seem to be going back to proven, safe technology. The other big reason is cost, space flight will never be cheap, but with the numbers of missions needed, we have to think cost effective, if we are ever going to go to Mars.

Jesus Christ, she's the world's dumbest cunt.

Cindy, (I'd love to live under a socialist thug than here under Bush) Sheehan... Congratualions, you have finally shown just exactly, EXACTLY why no decent American would give you the time of day you traitous hag. You defend Chavez, a thug, defend all kinds of vile creatures, like you're beloved "freedom fighters" in Iraq... you remember you idiot bimbo, the goons who killed your son?.. those guys..

This is not dissent, this is treason. She grovels and crawls in whorship to people who truly are evil... And calls the president of the United States, worse than Bin Laden...

Why does this cow, this piece of shit rank airtime?

Hardball has just allowed Cindy to do something that critics couldn't do. Allowed her to prove what a cunt, a traiter she really is. Allowed her to take people who may think the war is a mistake, and driven them away back to the president. The more she speaks, the smaller her crowds become.

Congratualations to code pink, you've taken such an extreme anti-American position, you've just murdered your own cause.

Goerge should be very grateful for Cindy, she's such a fool, she's the left's worst possible spokesman.

I hope this bitch steps in front of a bus.

Tokyo flippin Rose redux.

A fast, dosen't that mean... you don't eat?

Cindy of the cracked pot.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - About 150 protesters sat in front of the White House on Monday to savor their last meal before starting a hunger strike that some said will continue until American troops return from Iraq.

not to worry,

"We have to put our own lives on the line, and I'm willing to do that," said activist Diane Wilson, who pledged to fast until the United States withdraws from Iraq.

well that sounds like someone might die for their beliefs...

Dearborn said 2,700 other activists nationwide, including actors Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn, would work as a relay team passing the fast daily from one to another.

guess not then, ... relays? relays?

oh well, wouldn't want anyone to actually frigging sacrifice or anything. To have the guts to back up their BS, that would be too judgemental about them being lightweights and posers....

What a pack of loosers, Ghandi took his to the point of death, these fools can't miss a salad for over 24 hours and we're supposed to think they're serious? The anti-war movement has become a train wreck in progress. Becoming stupider as the years go by.

Josie and Jake

Our jack josie (bo bo to the kids), and the jakester, stud dog extordinare......... he's 11, she's 9. I'm sorry about the poor photography, my wife and digitals don't mix. She's much better with the 35mm. He's getting pretty arthritic, a busted down old hound dog like dad. We have to carry him up steps now, but he's worth it. Josie is grey as all hell, but like all jacks has the manic bounce bounce let me at it thing going on. We have a boxer as well, but when we moved we had to board her out to my wifes mother. She's 6, and named Elizabeth.

Today we did what we had to do. They counted on America to be passive. They counted wrong. Ronald Reagan

We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared, so we will always be free. Ronald Reagan

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. Ronald Reagan

I know, but in a time when heroes were thought extinct, a relic of ages past, he walked among us as a giant.

I miss my president.
